What Comes First When Writing an Essay? Thesis Statement Or Introduction?

What Comes First When Writing an Essay? Thesis Statement Or Introduction? This is an interesting question and one that is often asked, especially when writing an essay. It is my contention that you should always write the introduction and the thesis statement first and then proceed to the content of the essay. Yes, that does seem to make a lot of sense. This doesn't mean that you should skip the rest of the essay. I still believe that the thesis statement is the most important part of your essay. In fact, you should probably keep it brief and focused, as you don't want to end up writing too much too fast, if you haven't spent enough time on the key points. One of the reasons for this is that you need to focus your attention in order to ensure that you get all of the information that you need to cover in your essay. In addition, the thesis statement should be the core of your essay. Your introduction should contain all of the main ideas, whereas the conclusion should just close the discu ssion. That's a pretty good outline, don't you think?Nevertheless, there are many writers who still don't follow this plan and stick to the idea that they should start with the thesis statement. This is one of the main reasons why essays become less effective in teaching people to read and write and one of the reasons why they often fall short of their goal.I often find that people will simply write down a couple of sentences about the subject, usually with little or no attention paid to the outline of the essay. They seem to be satisfied to get something written, and then they move on to the next thing.Don't be like that, because if you want to succeed with writing an essay, you need to devote a good deal of time to the major aspects of the essay. Don't sacrifice anything, but concentrate on these aspects. The way to do this is to spend some time polishing up the details and showing them off in your essays.Just remember that you shouldn't limit yourself to only one topic in your es says. You should try to include everything you have learned in your studies, including all of the things you have learned in your classes. Therefore, the content of your essays will expand as you learn more, and your writing ability and skills will improve along with it.So, when writing an essay about the same topic, always begin with the thesis statement. You'll find that your essay will be far better written and far more interesting than if you had begun with the content of the essay.
